A bit of colour - looking forward to spring

Daffodil, tulip, crocus and snowdrop noses are poking through the wet dirt in my gardens. In some towns and cities in Ontario they are already blooming. They've likely been blooming for a month in west coast BC... and it will be more than a month before they show up in northern Ontario, Quebec, Labrador and Newfoundland. But anticipation is a wonderful thing and I thought to tantalize those of us who haven't got blooming gardens yet with a beautiful Easter basket made for me a couple of years ago.

All flowers that I love and that ended up planted in my garden. The hydrangea not too well along yet, but the others? glorious.

Hope you have a bit of colour in your day today as we are now officially into spring, having celebrated the equinox and a special full moon all in one weekend.
