Actually these were part of a selection we had a a community centre where I'm on the volunteer board of directors - we participated in the village tree lighting and people came for hot turkey on a bun - which they bought by donation... and then we had a Christmas concert with local musicians and entertainers providing the music and fun... and we had these wonderful home made cookies. Several volunteers got together to make them to share!
What a sense of community they gave us all - from the tiniest wee babe in arms to the oldest in a wheelchair. We all belonged and shared a special evening...
May you each have a feeling of belonging this Christmas season, and enjoy sharing time with family and loved ones. And may the coming year bring peace to this troubled world.
