Snowland today

This morning we woke to a huge windy storm. You can see my footsteps out to the feeders, caused earlier than usual this morning because I saw a tiny bird on the deck trying to get a toehold in the wind to grab a seed. The little birds immediately flocked to the breakfast on the ground - the feeders being stuffed with snow.

At the moment I can hardly see the drive shed - which is only about 40 feet away from the deck.

It's windy. It's snowing. It's not horribly cold in the lee of the wind, but I'm not going anywhere for a while though I suspect that in an hour or so - dogs will want to go out and play. They've been out three times already and often beg for more on snowy days.

But this is to show you what it's like outside today. Just a couple of videos...they tell the story. A good book and a fire anyone?
