The morning after

Grey skies, blowing snow, a blizzard at times, and oh so cold... that was yesterday. About 30 centimetres (20 inches) of the white stuff dropped on the nearby town and it was well over my knees when I walked the dogs around 5 p.m. - not pretty and hard slogging.

By 7 pm the stars were out. The storm had passed.





Today it's a different story as you can see - sun came up over the mountain and all was still as if waiting for something wonderful.

The wind has risen, but somehow with the bright sky it doesn't matter.

I'm up for wading through deep snow today even if my cheeks get frostbitten.

    Another blizzard?? How do you do it woman!?!? Stay safe and warm, although I know you will find the most fascinating stories to tell.
