Colour on a gray and snowy day

This morning the snow continues and I know the Eastern seaboard of North America is being threatened with a big storm. Elsewhere weather is taking its toll. So I thought to offer a promise of summer and a hint of colour to come.

These lilies are among my favourites in my garden. They seem so cheerful, and ultra-feminine with their pale peach blush and frilly edges - perfect for a winter day in my opinion!

Hope you find some colour and beauty in your winter day (or summer for those of my friends in the southern hemisphere). The world holds so much beauty even when there are terrible things happening around us. I wish you joy today.

    We only got three inches so I can't complain too much. My friends north and south of me are getting hammered. Thank you so much for the beautiful reminder of spring!
